How to Update Payment Information

You must update your payment information on the correct platform, which will be the DeerCast website, your Apple ID, or your Play Store account, depending on how you made the purchase. 

Did you purchase the subscription on the DeerCast app or the DeerCast website? 

Purchased on the DeerCast App

If you purchased the DeerCast subscription on the DeerCast app, you did so through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. The auto-renewal of your DeerCast subscription is managed by the Play Store or App Store. You'll need to update the payment method associated with your Play Store account or Apple ID. Please contact Google Support or Apple Support if you need assistance managing your Play Store account or Apple ID. Directions for both platforms are listed below. 

• Update an Apple ID Payment Method

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap your name.
3. Tap Payment & Shipping. You may be asked to sign in with your Apple ID.
4. From here, you can do these things:
   
   1. Add a payment method – tap Add Payment Method.
   2. Update a payment method – tap the payment method, then edit your information. You may need to enter the security code that's printed on your credit or debit card. If you use the card with Apple Pay, go to the Wallet app to edit the card information.
   3. Remove a payment method – tap Edit, tap the red Delete button, then tap Remove. If you have an unpaid balance, have subscriptions, including an iCloud storage plan, or use purchase sharing, you can't remove all payment methods.
   4. Change the order of your payment methods – tap Edit, then drag the move order icon (three horizontal lines). 

• Update a Play Store Payment Method 

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play Store app.
2. Tap Menu (three horizontal lines) > Payment methods > More payment settings.
3. If asked, sign in to pay.google.com.
4. Under the payment method you want to edit, tap Edit.
5. Make your updates.
6. Tap Update.

Purchased on the DeerCast Website

If you purchased a DeerCast subscription on the DeerCast website, you will need to update your payment method on the website, not the DeerCast app. Directions are below. 

1. Visit app.deercast.com on your Safari or Chrome web browser. 
2. Enter your DeerCast log-in credentials.
3. Click Settings (three dots in the lower right-hand corner) > Subscribe > Change/Update. 
4. Enter payment details > Select Save Card.
