How do I use Custom to tune my DeerCast forecast?

The Custom feature is a premium tool exclusive to our DeerCast Elite+ subscription, and it allows you to customize our algorithm to what you're observing in your area. Slide that bar to the plus sign (+) if you feel things are more optimistic, such as observing an unusual number of deer in your area, or slide that bar to the minus sign (-) if you feel things are a little more pessimistic. Altering this setting will change your whole forecast accordingly. If you would like additional information about this premium feature, check out this DeerCast 101 Video. 

Please note that Custom only amplifies the results of your DeerCast in whatever direction you slide it. The algorithm is still interpreting weather data for that location. The trick is you want it to reflect the actual deer movement you observe on the property, therefore, we recommend only using Custom if you find that the default setting isn't reflecting your actual experience.
